All books, notes, drawings, images, and other content you create within the App are stored locally on your device

Crash Reports
Firebase Crashlytics is used to collect crash reports and diagnostic information. This includes:
Device type and model
Operating system version
App version
Crash logs and stack traces
General usage patterns leading to crashes
This information is anonymised and used solely to improve App stability. No analytics on your personal content or usage patterns are collected.
Subscription Status
RevenueCat collects anonymised data to verify your subscription status. This includes a random identifier (not linked to your personal identity) and purchase receipts. No personal information such as name, email, or payment details is accessible through this service.

Data Control
Delete Local Data: Uninstalling the App removes all local data

Disable Sync: Turn off iCloud Sync in App settings at any time
Disable Crash Reporting: Crashlytics can be disabled by turning off "Share Analytics" in your device's iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements
Export Your Data
Export any book as a PDF through the Book Settings menu (Scriptum Pro feature).
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Scriptum does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The App does not require account creation or collect personal data.
DATA RETENTION
Local Data: Retained until you delete it or uninstall the App
iCloud Data: Retained until you delete it through the App or iCloud settings
Crash Reports: Retained by Firebase for 90 days
Subscription Data: Retained by RevenueCat while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Crash reports and subscription data may be processed in countries other than your own. By using the App, you consent to this transfer. All third-party services used comply with applicable data protection regulations.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be indicated by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and providing notice within the App for significant changes.
